Dragonfire protection

Use a dragonfire-protection shield with antifire, or an extended super antifire for a two-handed weapon route.

Mixed combat styles

Adamant dragons use Magic and Ranged attacks as well as dragonfire, so the overhead prayer must match the selected armour.

Poison projectile movement

Move several tiles from the landing area rather than trying to block the special with a protection prayer.

Arrive with antifire active, the chosen shield or two-handed protection plan set, and enough space for guaranteed bones and bars.

Protect against the weaker defence

The dragon uses ordinary Magic and Ranged attacks as well as dragonfire, so match the overhead to the selected armour.

Move from the poison projectile

Step several tiles from the marked landing area, then resume dragonbane damage after the hazard resolves.

Switch enchanted bolts deliberately

Use ruby dragon bolts early and diamond dragon bolts later on a crossbow route, keeping ammunition compatible with the selected weapon.
