Strategy
A practical step-by-step plan
Choose a legal weapon
Use the leaf-bladed battleaxe for melee or broad arrows or bolts for Ranged; ordinary weapons cannot damage kurasks.
Choose sustain or safe-spotting
Melee uses food or prayer for the planned trip, while Ranged can use the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon safe spot.
Process the drop table
High Alch rune equipment and use the herb sack and seed box to reduce banking.
Do not assume a task bonus
Only equip a Slayer helmet or black mask when assigned kurasks; keep the money-making estimate based on the selected off-task or on-task method.
Profitability and projections
The Wiki Estimate seeds loot and supply fields from current market inputs when available. Every assumption remains editable and your saved values take priority.
The calculator will update if the selected Wiki method provides a usable average loot value. You can enter your own value at any time.
Important drops
Notable rewards and drop categories

What should I upgrade next?
Method-specific progression priorities
Leaf-bladed spear -> leaf-bladed battleaxe
The battleaxe is the main one-handed melee damage upgrade that still satisfies the kurask weapon restriction.
Proselyte armour -> Bandos chestplate and tassets
Choose the Strength bonus when faster kills matter more than Prayer duration.
Add herb sack and seed box
Loot storage reduces banking without inventing a weapon above the method's actual restriction.
Common mistakes
Avoidable causes of failed or inefficient trips
Ignoring weapon restriction
Losing position during safe spot option
Mishandling alchemy: Process suitable drops only when it improves the trip.
Guide status and data source
