Required to catch black chinchompas.

Surround a known black chinchompa spawn with box traps while keeping caught value, player-killer visibility and a level-30 escape route under control.
HunterProfit, XP and account fit
Requirements
Mandatory and recommended are kept separate
Hard requirements
Required to use box traps.
The hunting ground is above level 30 Wilderness.
Bring the number allowed by the account plus spares.
Recommended
Allows six active traps and matches the current money-making setup.
Can improve catch chance and duplicate catches when charged.
Use only protected or replaceable items whose death loss is known.
Teleports at level 30 or below after reaching the southern escape line.
Can bank chinchompas at or below level 30 to reduce the stack exposed.
Location and access
Level 32 to 36 Wilderness
Travel to the black chinchompa hunting area in the north-western Wilderness and identify an active spawn tile.
Set a clear route south to level 30, then to Ferox or another bank. Caught chinchompas are lost on death, so bank by value rather than inventory fullness alone.

Recommended inventory

Method
A repeatable practical cycle
Check gear, trap, supply and caught-chinchompa loss before entering.
Kill one chinchompa if needed, note its respawn tile and surround it with traps.
Collect and replace traps before wandering creatures break the pattern.
Leave on the chosen trigger rather than waiting for an attacker to land a freeze.
Move south and secure catches before the expected loss outweighs another cycle.
XP vs profit
What changes the tradeoff
Each catch gives 315 Hunter XP. Level 80 supports six traps and the Wiki money-making route, while tick manipulation can raise rates at much higher attention and risk exposure.
Profitability
Wiki reference plus your assumptions
Expected profit depends on market prices, pace and the Wiki method assumptions.
Missing assumptions are not treated as zero.
Wilderness risk
32 to 36 Wilderness
Caught black chinchompas and unprotected supplies are lost on death. The calculator keeps gross catch value separate from the user's death rate and average loss.
- Run south to level 30 for a Royal seed pod
- Logout before combat when safe
- Use terrain and freezes to create a logout gap
- Bank catches periodically rather than risking the full hour
Common mistakes
Method-specific checks
Using six-trap rates below 80 Hunter
Waiting for a full inventory before banking
Assuming the Royal seed pod works above level 30
Bringing a valuable anti-PK setup without checking death loss
Useful upgrades
Improvements that affect this method
Unlocks the sixth trap.
Improves catch performance when charged.
Can secure catches after reaching level 30.
Reduces time spent deciding under attack.
