Profit, XP and account fit
Requirements
Mandatory and recommended are kept separate
Hard requirements
Required through Song of the Elves and used during Zalcano's mining phases.
Required through Song of the Elves and used while refining tephra.

Higher levels improve the relevant gathering and processing steps. Runecraft is useful here but is not a separate level 70 hard requirement.
A common practical team size that balances speed and contribution.
Provides more safety against avoidable arena damage.
Location and access
Prifddinas Volcanic Mine

Method
A repeatable practical cycle
Collect tephra from active rocks while avoiding falling debris and orange floor hazards.
Use the furnace to refine tephra, then the Runecraft altar to imbue it.
Throw imbued tephra at Zalcano while moving away from hazards and marked tiles.
When her shield breaks, mine her until she recovers, then repeat the cycle.
Maintain enough contribution to qualify for loot and bank in nearby Prifddinas between trips.
XP vs profit
What changes the tradeoff
Zalcano trades efficient Mining XP for reward value. Team size, kill speed and personal contribution change both loot and the skill XP mix.
Profitability
Wiki reference plus your assumptions
Expected profit depends on market prices, pace and the Wiki method assumptions.
Missing assumptions are not treated as zero.
Common mistakes
Method-specific checks
Standing still during orange floor or falling-rock cues
Throwing unimbued tephra
Overfilling the inventory and delaying the team cycle
Using a large mass when the goal is consistent personal contribution
Useful upgrades
Improvements that affect this method
A major early improvement over lower-tier pickaxes.
Improves mining performance when its charge cost is acceptable.
Adds a useful invisible Mining boost.
Often improves repeatability more than a minor equipment change.
