Method
A repeatable practical cycle
Load the colossal pouch and inventory at the selected bank.
Use the Ring of the Elements and enter the altar immediately.
Make air runes from the inventory and all stored essence.
Teleport to the closest practical bank, deposit runes and repeat without carrying unrelated items.
XP vs profit
What changes the tradeoff
Air runes give 5 XP per essence regardless of multiplier. The high-level profit comes from ten base runes per essence at 99, while Raiments and the lantern add runes but no XP.
Profitability
Wiki reference plus your assumptions
Expected profit depends on market prices, pace and the Wiki method assumptions.
Missing assumptions are not treated as zero.
Common mistakes
Method-specific checks
Comparing the ten-rune output with an account below 99 Runecrafting
Leaving essence in a pouch
Using a slow bank route with the 172-trip estimate
Counting bonus runes as extra XP
Useful upgrades
Improvements that affect this method
Unlocks the ten-rune multiplier and pouch-protecting cape.
Provides the direct altar teleport.
Raises carried essence to the high-capacity route.
Add air rune output after the route is stable.
