Recommended inventory
Adjust quantities to your trip and risk plan
Method
A repeatable practical cycle
Fill the inventory and pouches, then check Binding necklace charges.
Use the Ring of the Elements or selected route.
Cast Magic Imbue, use water runes on the altar and empty each pouch.
Bank, replace necklace charges and repair pouches before the next route loses capacity.
XP vs profit
What changes the tradeoff
Each successful essence gives 9.3 Runecrafting XP. Faster pouches and teleports increase XP and rune output together, while necklace and spell costs reduce profit.
Profitability
Wiki reference plus your assumptions
Expected profit depends on market prices, pace and the Wiki method assumptions.
Missing assumptions are not treated as zero.
Common mistakes
Method-specific checks
Using fire runes at the Fire Altar instead of water runes
Relying on Magic Imbue without a Binding necklace
Running out of necklace charges during the large pouch load
Ignoring spell and teleport costs
Useful upgrades
Improvements that affect this method
Makes every combination attempt succeed.
Removes most altar travel.
Raises essence per trip.
Increase output after the route is consistent.
