Recommended inventory
Adjust quantities to your trip and risk plan
Method
A repeatable practical cycle
Use Drakan's medallion and wear any noble disguise pieces required for the chosen route.
Equip full Rogue equipment and a Dodgy necklace, then cast Shadow Veil if used.
Use the nearby altar, bank or food plan before another failure could defeat you.
Judge the method over enough pickpockets to account for the rare blood shard, not one short trip.
XP vs profit
What changes the tradeoff
A successful Vyre pickpocket awards 306.9 XP. Base success rises from 42% at level 82 to about 50.2% at 99 before bonuses, while the Ardougne Hard Diary and Thieving cape improve it further. Level, success boosts and attention therefore change effective XP substantially.
