- Deep Wilderness preparation
- Ranged setup
- Food and escape supplies
- 75+ Ranged
- Fast response to ground warnings

Requirements
Access and practical preparation
Reach the level 42 Wilderness Chaos Fanatic with a Ghorrock teleport, Wilderness obelisk or low-risk route from the Lava Maze.
The prayer blocks the ordinary Magic projectile, but not the green explosive special.
Use pies, curry or other supplies that leave no empty slot so the disarm special cannot remove worn equipment.
Wilderness risk profile
Qualitative ratings, not guessed encounter rates
- Use the nearest cave exit or obstacle
- Move toward a teleport-valid Wilderness level
- Use line of sight and the current combat-zone rules
Teleport: Southbound deep-Wilderness escape
Core mechanics
What controls the encounter
Explosive special
Move away from the targeted area before the projectiles land.
Ranged pressure
Maintain protection and health without filling the inventory with risk.
Player traffic
Watch the minimap and leave on your preselected trigger.

Method-specific setups and tradeoffs

Strategy
A practical step-by-step plan
Enter with a completely full inventory
Use pies, curry and at least two route teleports so consuming or using one item does not expose a free slot to the disarm attack.
Keep Protect from Magic active
The prayer blocks the rapid ordinary projectile, but movement is still required for the green explosive special.
Move from the green arc
Step away as the projectiles land, then resume Ranged attacks without drifting away from the chosen escape direction.
Watch the respawn gap
The area is single-way during the kill, but another player can attack between spawns, so leave on the first risk trigger.
Risk-adjusted profitability
The Wiki Estimate seeds loot and supply fields from current market inputs when available. Every assumption remains editable and your saved values take priority.
The calculator will update if the selected Wiki method provides a usable average loot value. You can enter your own value at any time.
Important drops
Notable rewards and drop categories
When the Wiki publishes a matching money-making method, its estimated average loot per kill is available in the editable calculator. Otherwise, enter your own verified sample.
What should I upgrade next?
Method-specific progression priorities
Rune crossbow -> Craw's bow
The powered Wilderness bow improves Ranged damage while Protect from Magic and inventory blocking remain unchanged.
Craw's bow -> Webweaver bow
Use the upgraded Wilderness weapon only after its ether risk is included in death loss.
Complete the inventory-blocking supply plan
Preventing disarms is more useful here than adding a fourth unprotected armour item.
Common mistakes
Avoidable causes of failed or inefficient trips
Ignoring explosive special
Losing position during ranged pressure
Mishandling player traffic: Watch the minimap and leave on your preselected trigger.
Guide status and data source
