Overview and location
Access, encounter type and stat targets
Money maker
- 100,000 coin cave fee
- A combat setup you can replace
- An escape route
- Strong Ranged for the Magic shortbow method
- 43+ Prayer
- Wilderness Hard Diary for safer teleport timing
Requirements
Access and practical preparation
The fee is lost after dying in the cave or dying to another player anywhere in the Wilderness, and must then be repaid.
Check protected items and total death loss before every trip; the amulet of avarice keeps you skulled while worn.
Charge the bracelet for revenant damage reduction; the bracelet and every stored charge are always lost on death.
NPC combat delays teleports by two ticks unless the Wilderness Hard Diary is complete.
Wilderness risk profile
Qualitative ratings, not guessed encounter rates
- Cave exits and entrances
- Agility shortcuts where available
- Line-of-sight routes
- Teleport where Wilderness level permits
Teleport: Choose a one-click teleport valid for your cave depth
Core mechanics
What controls the encounter
Player killers
Keep the minimap, exits and attack options visible throughout the trip.
Teleblock risk
A teleblock can turn a simple teleport into a longer escape attempt.
Replaceable gear
Optimize for profit after losses, not only maximum damage.
Cave routes
The cave is singles-plus; know nearby exits and Agility shortcuts before fighting.

Strategy
A practical step-by-step plan
Price the death first
Include the entry fee, bracelet charges and avarice skull in the exact death-loss check.
Choose the cave area
Match the revenant and Wilderness depth to your escape plan.
Keep exits visible
Position the camera for immediate movement.
Bank by threshold
Use a fixed loot value or supply threshold instead of greed.

The Wiki Estimate seeds loot and supply fields from current market inputs when available. Every assumption remains editable and your saved values take priority.
The calculator will update if the selected Wiki method provides a usable average loot value. You can enter your own value at any time.

What should I upgrade next?
Method-specific progression priorities
Magic shortbow (i) → Craw's bow
Increase damage only after the escape trigger for player killers is dependable.
Dinh's bulwark and black dragonhide body escape switch
The defensive switch is more valuable when teleblock risk or a PKer interrupts the kill.
Craw's bow → Webweaver bow
Add the higher-risk Wilderness Revenants setup only after recorded deaths show that the additional value improves risk-adjusted profit.
Common mistakes
Avoidable causes of failed or inefficient trips
Ignoring the cave fee or permanent avarice skull in death loss
Forgetting the NPC-combat teleport delay without the Wilderness Hard Diary
Waiting too long to start an escape
